❖ Described as 'Like the sun - Warm, bright and sometimes scorching', Seda maintains a sunny, pleasant demeanor when the journey is smooth - but when her patience is exhausted, a sarcastic, acerbic side emerges. Some find this refreshing, others repellent - it's cost her a business contact or two and made acquaintances into friends on other occasions.❖ Like many independent, strong-minded people, Seda doesn't relinquish control terribly easily. This can cause conflict with her friends and companions when disagreements arise on the best course of action in a given situation.❖ Her independence and quick decision making do not always play out in Seda's favour; she has been known to make a bad call, and find herself metaphorically up a tree. She's never gracious about needing rescue, and can be quite prickly until the injury to her pride is soothed.
hooks & plottings
Generally, Seda comes as half of a duo. That's not to say I do not RP her separately - because we both have our own IC connections and pursue things on our own! But overall we enjoy doing things together, and the IC contacts of one tend to involve the other eventually.
We both love to explore interpersonal dynamics - how the characters relate and interact with one another - and see how they respond to challenges. We believe this offers a lot of really intriguing possibilities for character development, furthering personal plotlines, and a general sense of OOC camaraderie and friendship between players.Open to plot or event ideas - have something you want to do, and feel stuck? We can write NPCs or help nudge plots forward. We're game for hooks, pre-established relationships/rivalries - you name it, and we'll talk!

❖ Thavnair :: Most of Seda's RP relates to Thavnair one way or another. It doesn't matter if you're a native, a visitor or just passing through - in her role with Jijivisha, she has a number of reasons to travel outside the Near East. But her base of operations are in Radz-at-Han, and she spends the majority of her time in the city or surrounding environs.❖ Shades of Grey :: People have mistaken the petite ginger for a pushover - to their eventual regret. While Seda is heavily invested in improving her adopted home, she understands all too well that you cannot always walk in the light if you want to get things done.Thieves, forgers and other criminals in Thavnair may have heard her name - and that she's available for the right jobs. (No wetwork, please!)❖ Put on Those Running Shoes :: While she's perfectly capable of self-defence, Seda prefers to try talking her way out of sticky situations. I play her as a civilian with some combat training - she is an accomplished hunter from a childhood in the Shroud - but she is just as likely to decide the odds are not in her favour and run for it if conflict arises.❖ Angel Shot :: For all that Seda is a criminal... she has a soft spot for people in trouble. Male or female, if you're in over your head, she'll help however she's able. But have a care; people that abuse such generosity are not well-regarded, and she does not react well to violations of trust.

❖ I am a lore compliant, realistic writer. I do not write characters that have great personal power or wealth; there's no fun for me in being able to resolve all conflict with the snap of fingers. I like low-powered characters dealing with the every-day issues of people on the bottom floor, and find those dynamics much more interesting than Warrior of Light level interactions.❖ I have a full-time office job, and absolutely understand that sometimes the creative energy just isn't there; there are other games to play, or you just want to veg. That said, my time has value, and I prefer spending time with people that are willing to offer me the same courtesies and respect I extend to them.❖ I prioritize communication. Many a promising friendship has died on the vine because of assumptions, misunderstandings, or a general disinterest in discussing an issue. I work hard to be approachable, so please talk to me if something's not working for you.❖ Ideally, my RP partner and I would love to find 2-3 people to write with. We both value quality over quantity, and we'd be delighted to have a small group to write with, do PVE stuff in-game with... sort of like a little tabletop group. We have a lot of fun together, and think having some fresh faces around would be awesome for all involved.
